Personal Message from Linda:
My
Wellness Journey—
Twenty-two years ago, I had a profoundly life-changing experience. I
began to experience a multitude of debilitating and
frightening symptoms. The right side of my body became weak
and palsied. I lost my coordination, and my eyes blurred,
seeing double, even triple at times. Eight months later, I
was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. I was told there was
no known cause, and no cure. The doctor gave me a tiny
pamphlet, titled, Living with MS, and sent
me home. I felt like my life was over. But, little did I
know, a better life was just beginning. Within weeks,
through an incredible state of Grace-- what I can only
describe as divine intervention, I was led to one
of the best natural healers at the time. In the early 80’s,
natural medicine was definitely not mainstream or easy to
find. Yet, I was led to many healers that would guide me
to health during this trying time. Each of these wonderful
pioneers in alternative medicine gave me hope,
encouragement, and the information I needed to begin
applying natural healing methods in my life. They taught me
to begin practicing what coaches now call “extreme
self-care.,” taking the time to take better care of your
self. That is what I started doing. Through persistence
and an intense desire to get well, I gathered the
information and applied the techniques I was learning. To
these early pioneers, I am eternally grateful. Today, i enjoy optimal health: I hike, bike, play tennis and golf,
practice yoga, run a busy practice, and give seminars and
workshops on my passion: wellness.
I have
condensed all the learning, tools, techniques and wisdom I
gained over the past twenty two years in a way that you can
create your own version of Total
Wellness in as little as ten minutes a day
because I have come to realize that our lives has become
insanely busy, and that lack of time is one of the biggest
modern-day challenges to creating optimal health. I am
thrilled to share these natural health secrets that can
regenerate dis-eased bodies back to health and change a life
from one of everyday blahs, or worse, to one of everyday
blessings and miracles.
I continue on my journey of creating serenity,
gratitude, joy and passion in my life, and invite you to
join me on your journey of living a healthier, happier, more
balanced life.
Blessings,
Linda Gerdes |
